Title: Aerospace Harnessing Technician
Position Type: Full-Time/Non-Exempt
Pay Range: $21.30-$36.26 (Hourly) (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data)

About the role: As a Harnessing Technician you will be responsible for prepping, assembling, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses used in Tendeg deployable antennas, ground support equipment, test equipment, and/or internal development tools. They work closely with engineers and other technicians
We are looking Aerospace Harnessing Technicians that will support the following programs:
What you'll do:
Harness Assembly: Constructing electrical wiring harnesses in accordance with engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications. This involves proficiently executing tasks such as cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering wires. Additionally, installing connectors, backshells, and other components with precision and attention to detail is essential.
Testing: Conducting thorough electrical tests and inspections on completed harness assemblies to ensure proper continuity, insulation resistance, and overall performance. If any defects or issues are identified during testing, promptly troubleshooting and repairing them to maintain quality standards and reliability.
Documentation: Maintaining meticulous records of all harness assembly and installation activities. This includes documenting the parts used, test results, and any modifications or repairs performed. Ensuring compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements is a critical aspect of this responsibility.
Safety: Prioritizing safety at all times by strictly adhering to established safety protocols and procedures. This includes but is not limited to, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, following safe work practices, and promptly reporting any safety hazards or incidents.
Collaboration: Working closely and effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and fellow technicians. Collaborating to resolve technical issues, improve assembly processes, and support the production of deployable antennas and associated products is vital for success in this role. Clear communication and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key components of effective collaboration.
